- Juris Jurjevics was a writer, editor, and publisher who served as editor-in-chief of Dial Press during the 1970s. The Juris Jurjevics James Baldwin files consist of material from Jurjevics's time at Dial Press editing and publishing James Baldwin. These include a partial typescript and galley of Baldwin's last novel, Just Above My Head (1979), publishing contracts, royalty payments, and related correspondence.
