  • Layout: Written in 15 long lines per page, ruled in red ink, occasional prickings visible. From f. 57 to 161, quire signatures visible in upper left corner.
  • Decoration: 85 miniatures. 1-line gold initials with blue penwork. Floreate borders around initials. Rubrics. Red slashes as placemarkers. F. 188 and after, large initials, blue and gold 1-line initials with red or blue penwork. 2-line gold initials on blue and red fields.
  • Collation: Eight quaternions.
  • Number of scribes: 2: A, ff. 2-187; B, ff. 188-211v; plus noting hands.
  • Script: Gothic.
  • Throughout ms, blank pages or empty spaces are filled with notes in cursive hand.
  • Mainly in Middle Dutch with prayers on the life and passion of Christ; Latin on ff. 188-209v, 211r-v; French in one prayer on ff. 208-210.
