  • Layout: Part one, written in 53 lines of text are visible, in long lines, ruled in ink. - Part two, written in 24 long lines per page (3 verses of 8 lines each), ruled in extremely faded ink, catchwords visible. Three quires of eight folios each.
  • Decoration: Drawings of humans and animals in borders and as illustrations. Maps, charts, and illustrations. 2-line and 3-line red initials. Rubrics.
  • Two manuscripts bound together of approximate dates, on parchment and paper.
  • Paper: Two watermarks: 1. Briquet 5905, Siena 1450-2 and Florence, 1453-4; 2. Similar to Briquet 6658, dated Florence 1451.
  • Script: Cursive and humanistic cursive.
  • Number of Parts: 2
  • These two folios are composed of one large vellum sheet, folded in half (the outer dimension above are of one half) to serve as the cover for the Dati ms.
  • The dealer's notes which accompany the manuscript do not discuss the place or date of origin of this leaf, part 1, "On minors and wards...".
