A letter to the Rev. Mr. John Jackson, [electronic resource] : Occasioned by His remarks on Dr. Middleton's Free Inquiry into the Miraculous Powers, supposed to have subsisted in the Christian Church, from the Earliest Ages. In which is shewn, That we have no sufficient Reason to believe, upon the Authority of the Primitive Fathers, That any such Powers were continued to the Church, after the Days of the Apostles. And likewise, That the Primitive Fathers have not, according to Mr. Jackson's own Account, preserved, in their Writings, the pure and uncorrupted Faith and Doctrine of Christ and his Apostles.
