Summary
Surveys the development of racism and its various aspects: historical, ideological, and medical. Discusses Nazi race hygiene propaganda and anti-Jewish racial legislation. A special effort was made to ensure the loyalty of physicians, and for this reason, as well as due to Nazi discriminatory policy, 10,000 Jewish physicians were expelled from the Medical Association. Ca. 6,000 emigrated and nearly 500 committed suicide. Deals with the euthanasia program, in which Jewish and non-Jewish disabled persons were murdered, but the Jews without prior examination. The technical procedure of annihilation in the Holocaust was based on experiences in the euthanasia actions (T4). Mentions the involvement of the judicial system in legalizing euthanasia.
