Summary
Etta Moten Barnett dedicates the show to Carter G. Woodson and Negro History Week which began in 1926. She discusses his part in founding the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History and states its mission. Following, is the voice of Langston Hughes introducing Ralph Bunche and Mary McLeod Bethune who both speak briefly on the struggle and the glory of Negro history, human relations and brotherhood. The Tuskegee Choir sings "Glory Glory Allelujah".
