- Fashion depicts African American fashion designers and models as well as fashion designs, fashion shows and fashion boutiques.
- Fashion designers, sometimes pictured with their designs, include Bil Howard, Bernard Johnson, James Kelly and Willie Smith. Among the fashion designs depicted is clothing by Patrick Kelly and hats by Linda Page and Ruth Toles. Most fashion shows are productions sponsored by churches, charities or social groups and feature non-professional models. Professional fashion models depicted include Lois Bell, Iman, Beverly Johnson, and Marcia McBroom.
