Hortense Kessler discusses her family background; the beginnings of her dance training with various teachers including Doris Humphrey, Charles Weidman and José Limón; auditioning for the Metropolitan Opera Ballet; being invited to take classes at the school and then joining the company; different dancers she saw perform during these years; she and Hunt look over some memorabalia; more on travelling and working with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet; her impressions of Boris Romanoff; various works that she enjoyed performing.
