- Disc 1 (ca. 63 min.). Annabelle Gamson speaks about her return to the work of Isadora Duncan after a 15 year performance hiatus; studying with Julia Levien and at the Katherine Dunham school; her memories of Café Society (nightclub); dancing as an emotional base in her life; her first professional auditions and getting the job to work with Jerome Robbins in On the town; living in Europe; returning to New York and dancing with Anna Sokolow; her own first exposure to choreographing, as a child, when working with Levien; Levien's dance lineage; other work Gamson did after Sokolow; touring with American Ballet Theatre; more on living in Europe; living in Westchester, New York and teaching; returning to performance through the influence of Barbara Roan; the challenges of performing Mary Wigman's dances.
