Summary
A'Lelia Bundles discusses her forthcoming biography of her great-grandmother, A'Lelia Walker (June 6, 1885 -- August 17, 1931), an American businesswoman and patron of the arts. She was the daughter and only child of Madam C.J. Walker, the first self-made woman millionaire in the United States, and one of the first African American millionaires. Bundles also shares vintage photographs and memorabilia with a focus on A'Lelia Walker's life, parties, friends, and arts patronage in Harlem.
