Summary
Clipping and miscellaneous material about program of the Black Fashion Museum, article of the Fashion designer Karl Davis Videotape Documentation, including some programs, letters, some of his couture collection and the designer's death obituary. African Fashion, black Americans starting to reach for African culture coming through their dress and lifestyle, news papers and articles of African American designers inspired by African culture, programs and events of African Fashion show. Music and Fashion, Clipping relating to Hip-Hop music and the rap influencing the Fashion world, hip-hop fashion has attracted a sparkling sheaf of celebrity entrepeneurs, like Shaquille O'Neal, Spike Lee, the entertainment mogul Russell Simmons, Chuck D. and many more; indicating the wave that many black designers and businessmen riding into the fashion industry. Teen Fashion, T- Shirt designer Ben Ali displaying three T-Shirts that have been popular in which include, the "X" featuring Malcom X a sign of teen protest, the "Gun T-Shirt" and "Martin Luther King Jr. - Violence is Immoral T-Shirt".
